Frances Ann Allen

Frances Ann Kelley Allen passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly mansion on Saturday, February 1, 2014 after a brief illness. She was born February 17, 1940 in Morris, OK to Sophia Kathleen Selheim Kelley and Howard Francis Kelly. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, "momish" , great-grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law and "Nana". She was a graduate of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, OK in 1958. Attended nursing school in Muskogee, OK where she met and married her precious husband John.

They married on February 20, 1959, and spent almost every day together for 54 years. Frances was a woman of many hats, literally, as you would hardly ever see her not wearing one. Loved her family and never turned down an opportunity to spend time with them, especially her grand kids and great-grand kids. She left this world way too soon and has left a hole in our hearts, but we are so grateful that she knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and we long for the day when we see her again in Heaven.

Frances is survived by her husband John, daughter Traci and son-in-love Steve, son John and daughter-in-love Sheila. Grandchildren Brandon and Monica Allen, Michael and Missy Allen, William and John Walker. Great-grandchildren Caden and Cooper Allen and Sophie and Kaleb Allen. Sister in love, Jane Lewis, 1 sister, Martha Goss, and brothers Dan, Raymond and Richard Kelley, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frances was preceded in death by her mother, Sophia, her father Howard , her brother Howard Kelley, and her "adopted" grandson, Daris Schell.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Thursday February 6 th at 11:00 am at Eastwood Baptist Church.
